We are in the early stages of writing a movie script based on Rex’s delivery of Dr. Nelson to the 226 passengers and crew aboard the snowbound “City of San Francisco” streamliner train stuck at Yuba Gap, California in January 1952. Rex was pulled from the Golden Gate AKC benched dog show to take in the rescue team.
